Josiah's trip to the pumpkin patch.

To see my son dressed up as my childhood favorite super hero brought back a ton of memories of when my parents used to dress me up for halloween. I remember being 5 years old and wearing my Superman costume to bed just because it made me feel like an actual super hero. Well I'm joining my son in dressing up as Superman once again. Even though It's been 22 years since I've been Superman the feeling remains the same.... I'm going to sleep with my costume on and this time around my mom can't make me take it off! But now to convince the wife....

Enjoya a couple of pictures of Josiah's big adventure at Pa's Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach.

Here's Josiah trying to move some pumpkins out of his way... Those pumpkins are lucky he didn't use his Super Powers at that particular moment.

Productive Monday

Today I took the initiative to come out to a little photography seminar which will teach me how to incorporate motion picture to my photo sessions. It's actually pretty cool. Can't wait to start applying this knowledge in my next shoot. Wish me luck!

Meet Sergio and Sandra

Meeting Sergio and Sandra for the first time was an absolute pleasure. They both enjoy viewing one of my all time favorite shows "Son's of Anarchy" which was the topic of many conversations (Which at times I couldn't hush about) They have the cutest little dog named Buddy who can really steal the spot light off of anyone! And Let's not forget to mention their exquisite taste in Italian Deli.
They are getting married in Dec and I have the honor of capturing their special day. We took a drive to the venue and let me tell you... It's a sight to see. They say a picture is worth a thousand words... & After seeing how these two love birds get lost in each others eyes it doesn't take a wiz to figure out that they are totally meant for each other.  Looking forward to the date and I'll leave you with some teasers from their Pre-wedding photo session. Enjoy!

Couldn't end this post without showing you Little Buddy. Isn't he precious....

Sunday Randomness!

It's always fun to go back to my hard drive to take a gander at all the images I've taken in the past. Amazing how you could live a certain feeling, emotion, moment, look back on it and say to yourself "wasn't that just yesterday'? when in reality it's been several days, months, years.... All I've got to say is treasure the moments you can cherish today and live life to the fullest.
4th of July 2011

Got a little scared at first but after a couple of loud blasts he got used to them and enjoyed the fireworks show from our front lawn.
This is Erick.. (Middle Brother) right before heading back to Northern Cali to U.C. Davis

Josiah Eating on his high chair could be a very interesting event. Gotta Love Em.

And when you ask him if he's done with what's in his mouth... this is what you get.
This is David (Youngest brother) as he helps me test out some new camera equipment. He's always a great help when it comes to providing him with a new Facebook profile picture... but he's also one excellent uncle who loves my son dearly! Gotta Love those brothers of mine...

How time goes by...

Can't belive my son is a year and a half now. Looking back at old pictures and seeing his transformation from being a new born baby to a crawler and now a full grown toddler is amazing. Next thing you know the Terrible Two's followed by Teenage years... (Maybe I'm moving way ahead of myself) but I'll continue enjoying the whole "growing up" process and see what the future holds for the Joya family.
